Aclaró que las críticas hacia su puesta en escena no afectaron su relación con RTVE, calificando los debates como parte del proceso creativo.

En relación a la polémica generada por sus comentarios sobre Israel, Melody evitó posicionarse directamente, apelando al espíritu de paz del festival y mencionando que su contrato le prohibía hacer comentarios políticos. Sin embargo, RTVE desmintió esta afirmación, aclarando que solo la UER regula que las canciones carezcan de contenido político. Posteriormente, Melody publicó un mensaje en Instagram reafirmando su postura en favor de los derechos humanos y en contra de toda guerra, sin hacer mención específica a Israel.
